Explore and Discover Center for Early Learning provides full-time and part-time child care, early childhood educational services, VPK, Day Camp and Afterschool Programs for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years old.

We are seeking a lead three-year-old teacher to join our growing team. Job applicants shall provide complete and accurate information about their education, training, experience, interests, capabilities, limitations, special skills and at least three outside references, preferably from former employers.
Lead Teacher Qualifications
- An Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Nursing, or other child related field of study OR
- An Associate's degree or higher in a subject area not listed above with 3 college level courses in Early Childhood/Child Development OR
- A Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) OR
- A National Child Development Associate (CDA)
Lead Teacher Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
- Ensure a safe environment including inspection of materials and environment.
- Implement lessons for the children in the classroom that are developmentally appropriate and help children develop physically, cognitively, emotionally, and socially.
- Implement the classroom daily schedule each day.
- Submit lesson plans weekly.
- Maintain daily child attendance (check-in and check-out)
- Generate individual student progress reports.
- Attend employee meetings.
- Be familiar with state regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
