What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Summer Camp Educator position at Exploration Place, Inc.?
Are you passionate about education and working with children? Exploration Place may have the ideal summer job for you! We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible assistant summer camp educators to help with daily activities for campers ages 7 to 13. Your role will include assisting in leading engaging, themed hands-on activities, supervising lunch and recess, supporting teacher breaks, and performing other related tasks.
Candidates must have at least 6 months of experience working with children in an educational setting, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. A Bachelor’s degree in education or science, along with First Aid/CPR/AED certification, is preferred. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. All applicants must pass a federal background check, fingerprinting, and a drug screening.
