Title: Laundry Attendant
Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor
Department: Lodging
Summary of Position: Provide prompt and courteous, friendly and professional laundry service to guests in accordance with Company Quality Standards.

Summary of Position: Provide prompt and courteous, friendly and professional laundry service to guests in accordance with Company Quality Standards.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all laundry room equipment and linens
- Supply an adequate amount of linens for Housekeepers to properly complete duties
- Ensure efficient and proper operation of laundry equipment
- Identify and report any linens or clothing not belonging to the Company
- Keep laundry area organized and clean
- Handle and store all cleaning agents according to set regulations
- Assist Housekeepers when necessary
- Alert management and Maintenance personnel of problems and issues concerning the upkeep of the hotel
- Clean and organize work area for following day
- Train and assist new employees with techniques and procedures
- Understand Company’s ISO (Environmental & Quality) management systems, policies, goals, and initiatives and meet the specific responsibilities within these areas.
- Other duties per Duties Checklist and as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing and pulling
- Must be organized, accurate and reliable
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs.
Education and Experience:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience: One (1) year of housekeeping experience preferred
Resort/National Park experience preferred
