Trissential is hiring a Project Manager – Customer Portfolio Agile Delivery to join our client’s team and lead high-visibility initiatives that span Agile delivery teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership groups.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Delivery Ownership & Project Controls

• Own project delivery across the full lifecycle, from initiation through closure
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies to achieve successful outcomes
• Translate business objectives into executable delivery plans and measurable milestones
• Drive accountability for commitments, deadlines, and project objectives across teams
• Monitor delivery progress and proactively address risks and challenges

Cross-Team Coordination & Program-Level Alignment

• Coordinate work across multiple Agile teams, stakeholders, and external partners
• Manage cross-functional dependencies to ensure seamless execution across workstreams
• Serve as the central point of coordination, communication, and escalation for delivery activities
• Facilitate alignment between business priorities and delivery execution plans

Agile Delivery Enablement

• Support Agile teams by facilitating Scrum ceremonies when necessary, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews
• Help teams identify and remove blockers that impact delivery timelines
• Partner closely with Product Owners to maintain backlog readiness and sprint alignment
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and delivery excellence
• Encourage consistent Agile practices while maintaining focus on business outcomes

Governance, Risk & Financial Management

• Maintain strong project governance frameworks, reporting practices, and delivery controls
• Manage project forecasting, budget tracking, and variance analysis
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively
• Escalate concerns impacting scope, budget, timeline, or quality in a timely manner
• Ensure delivery transparency through effective reporting and stakeholder communication

Stakeholder Communication & Leadership

• Provide concise, actionable updates to stakeholders and executive leadership
• Translate technical and delivery progress into meaningful business insights
• Facilitate strategic discussions, alignment sessions, and decision-making meetings
• Build strong working relationships across business and technology teams
• Influence outcomes and drive accountability without relying on direct authority

Skills & Experience You Should Possess

• 5 years of experience managing end-to-end project delivery within IT, technology, or business environments
• Proven success managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies
• Experience coordinating multiple Agile teams simultaneously across complex initiatives
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery principles and Scrum practices
• Demonstrated ability to drive delivery outcomes in matrixed environments
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
• Experience facilitating cross-functional collaboration and resolving delivery challenges
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution and team support

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience serving as both Project Manager and Scrum Master on large-scale initiatives
• Experience within enterprise organizations with multiple stakeholders and delivery teams
• Exposure to vendor management and third-party delivery coordination
• Experience with Agile scaling frameworks and enterprise delivery models
• Familiarity with project portfolio management and program governance practices
• Experience with both Agile methodologies and traditional project management approaches

Education & Certifications You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred
• Scrum Master certification such as CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent preferred
• Additional Agile or project management certifications are considered advantageous

• Competitive Compensation –$65–$75 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and location. Final compensation is determined based on skill alignment, years of experience, and fair, market-based rates by geography.
