About the PositionThe Home Care Services Coordinator oversees the day-to-day operations of our in-home care workforce and plays an important role in ensuring every client receives reliable, individualized, high-quality care.
This position combines caregiver recruitment, scheduling, staff leadership, quality assurance, care-plan oversight, training, compliance, and client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and supporting Professional Caregivers and CNAs
- Managing caregiver schedules and proactively addressing call-outs and coverage needs
- Thoughtfully matching caregivers with clients based on skills, experience, personality, and care needs
- Participating in client intakes and supporting the development and implementation of individualized care plans
- Conducting regular quality-assurance and supervisory visits
- Reviewing care documentation and ensuring timely, accurate completion
- Coaching caregivers and addressing performance or policy concerns
- Conducting annual performance reviews and maintaining appropriate employee documentation
- Developing and leading quarterly staff training focused on safety, compliance, professionalism, and quality improvement
- Creating meaningful caregiver recognition and appreciation initiatives
- Maintaining compliant and up-to-date employee records
- Helping foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and compassionate care
The ideal candidate is a proactive, organized, dependable leader who communicates exceptionally well and understands that successful home care requires supporting both the client and the caregiver.
We’re looking for someone who can anticipate challenges, solve problems, hold others accountable, build strong relationships, and take genuine pride in maintaining a high standard of care.
Experience in home care, senior care, healthcare staffing, scheduling, or a related leadership role is strongly preferred.
