Job Title: RN - Rehab
Job Type: Full-time (3×12s, weekends required)
Unit Census: Avg. 18 patients | 24-bed unit
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective nursing care aligned with evidence-based practices.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for Med Surg/Rehab patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to update patient care plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatments, discharge, and health promotion.
- Perform bedside shift reports, purposeful hourly rounding, and medication reviews.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families.
- Build therapeutic relationships and respect cultural and individual patient needs.
- Address concerns through effective service recovery and escalate issues as needed.
- Maintain a safe care environment and report safety concerns promptly.
- Ensure accurate, thorough documentation in EPIC (highly preferred).
- Demonstrate professionalism, ethical decision-making, and teamwork.
- Participate in unit committees, shared governance, and ongoing learning.
Qualifications
- Required: Active NYS Registered Nurse License
- Required: BLS certification
- Preferred: BSN (associate degree accepted with relevant experience or BSN enrollment)
- Preferred: CRRN certification
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years Med/Surg or Rehab RN experience
- 1 year travel RN experience (required for travel positions; not for per diem)
- EPIC experience strongly preferred

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
