Patient Care Associate – Contract
Location: New York, NY 10025
Schedule: Full-Time | Day or Evening Shift | Every Other Weekend Required
Time: DAY 7AM - 3:15PM | EVENING 3PM - 11:15PM
Contract Duration: 2 Months
Hours per Week: 37.5
Days per Week: 5
Key Responsibilities
- Take and record vital signs; document intake/output.
- Perform specimen collection, EKGs, and phlebotomy.
- Assist with feeding, bathing, mobility, and other daily activities.
- Support nurses during procedures and patient rounds.
- Maintain room cleanliness and patient comfort.
- Provide one-to-one observation for safety as needed.
- Assist with meal delivery and patient transport.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification: AHA HeartSaver or BLS required.
Experience:
- Day Shift: Hospital experience required (EKG/Phlebotomy).
- Evening Shift: Minimum 2 years of hospital experience (float required).
- Strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills.
