The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background, a proven track record managing U.S. and international patent portfolios, and a portable book of business. This role offers a collaborative, supportive environment with the infrastructure needed to integrate, expand, and service a sophisticated client base involved in complex technologies.What You’ll Do:Prepare and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications across a range of technical fields.Develop, manage, and execute strategic global patent portfolios for clients.Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on IP-related issues and cross-disciplinary matters.Conduct patentability, freedom-to-operate, and risk assessments; prepare related opinions.Provide strategic counseling on IP protection, enforcement, and portfolio optimization.Participate actively in business development and client relationship management efforts.Experience You’ll Need:J.D. from an accredited law school.Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.7 years of experience as a patent prosecution attorney.Technical background in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, physics, or related fields.A moderate portable book of business.Demonstrated client service excellence and ability to grow and manage a practice.Our client asked me to submit 3 great people within the next few days.
