Job Description
Summary:
This role is ideal for a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst who enjoys bridging the gap between business operations and technology solutions. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders, subject matter experts, data teams, and technology partners to analyze business challenges, document requirements, improve processes, and support solution delivery. You will play a key role in transforming business needs into actionable requirements, process improvements, reporting enhancements, and technology-enabled solutions.
- Gather, analyze, and document business, system, functional, non-functional, and data requirements.
- Facilitate stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, and current-state/future-state process reviews.
- Create process maps, workflows, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and technical-ready specifications.
- Partner with business, product, reporting, data, and technology teams to support solution delivery.
- Conduct data analysis and summarize findings into actionable recommendations.
- Support testing activities, UAT readiness, implementation efforts, and post-launch validation.
- Develop training materials, documentation, stakeholder communications, and business process guides.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and business analysis best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–5 years of Business Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, Process Improvement, or Systems Analysis experience.
- Strong experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, UAT, and solution delivery lifecycles.
- Experience analyzing data, reporting requirements, KPIs, and business processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Miro, or similar analysis tools.
- Experience within Financial Services, Insurance, Mortgage, Title, Escrow, or regulated industries is preferred.
- Business Analysis certifications (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, Agile) are a plus.
