Responsibilities
- Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to create detailed digital models of dental prostheses, including crowns, bridges, implants, and full arch restorations.
- Operate CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) equipment to accurately fabricate dental restorations from digital designs.
- Collaborate with dentists and lab team members to interpret patient prescriptions and clinical data for precise prosthetic fabrication.
- Ensure all dental prostheses meet strict quality standards through meticulous finishing, polishing, and adjustments.
- Maintain comprehensive medical and dental records, documenting procedures, materials used, and fabrication details in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all fabrication processes to ensure patient safety.
- Stay current with advancements in digital dentistry, including new software updates, materials, and laboratory techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience in dental laboratory techniques with a focus on CAD/CAM technology and digital design for dental prosthetics.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, occlusion, and removable prosthodontics to ensure functional and aesthetic restorations.
- Proficiency in CAM software and 3D CAD modeling for custom prosthetic fabrication.
- Familiarity with implantology procedures, full arch dental restoration, and complete denture fabrication.
- Experience working with ceramics, dental equipment, and laboratory finishing techniques.
- Ability to interpret medical terminology, dental terminology, and clinical data accurately.
- Knowledge of infection control practices, sterilization procedures, and aseptic techniques within a dental laboratory setting.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with dental professionals and team members.
