- Lead engineering and delivery of microservices and APIs to support customer data for mid-layer services across the organization and external partners
- Actively participate and provide leadership in all Agile/Scrum ceremonies
- Define project scopes, technical specifications, and estimate required resources
- Ensure clear articulation and communication of requirements to development teams
- Deliver well-designed, high-quality, fully tested features, enhancements, and fixes
- Take ownership of the full application development lifecycle and ongoing support
- Define and document best practices for application deployment and infrastructure maintenance
- Drive continuous improvement by researching and presenting new technologies and alternative solutions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
- Provide subject matter expertise, technical direction, and guidance for complex engagements
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and on-target delivery
- Utilize expertise in Java 8 , Spring Boot, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS/Redhat), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and maintain automated testing using tools like JBehave, Cucumber, Selenium, and Junit
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams, participating in backlog refinement, standups, code reviews, and using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps
- (Desired) Experience with streaming/messaging platforms (Kafka, NATS, Kinesis, Event Hub), monitoring tools (Datadog, New Relic), Elastic Search, and API management (Apigee)
