As a Portfolio Agile Coach specializing in Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) for a Randstad client in Washington, D.C., you will serve as the strategic architect responsible for aligning executive vision with enterprise-wide execution. Operating at the portfolio level, you will drive the transition from traditional project-based funding to Lean-Agile flow, implementing SAFe 6.0 methodologies to optimize value streams and governance. Your role is pivotal in mentoring leadership, dismantling systemic impediments, and fostering a high-transparency culture that leverages data-driven insights to accelerate delivery across the organization.ResponsibilitiesDrive Lean Portfolio Management: Facilitate key LPM and Agile Release Train (ART) events to ensure strategic alignment, investment transparency, and optimized flow.Executive & Leadership Coaching: Provide high-level mentorship to leaders and stakeholders on Agile operating models, governance structures, and Lean-Agile values.SAFe Training & Certification: Deliver and certify SAFe 6.0 courses across various roles (SA, SP, RTE, SSM, SASM) and facilitate SAFe Collaborate sessions.Implement OKR Frameworks: Collaborate with leadership to design and deploy OKRs for objective performance tracking and progress measurement.Conduct Maturity Assessments: Lead AgilityHealth maturity assessments, recommend strategic growth plans, and facilitate targeted improvement workshops.Champion Organizational Change: Identify and resolve enterprise-level impediments to improve productivity, reduce cycle times, and eliminate inefficiencies.Tooling & Metrics Strategy: Support the adoption and optimization of Jira Align, Confluence, and AgilityHealth to track transformation metrics and portfolio health.Foster Communities of Practice: Cultivate a continuous learning environment through Communities of Practice to encourage cross-functional innovation and autonomy.Develop Training Assets: Create Lean-Agile educational materials and lead the onboarding of new teams into the Agile ecosystem.QualificationsCertification: Active SAFe 6 Practice Consultant (SPC) certification is required.Coaching Expertise: Minimum of 6 years’ experience coaching Agile teams, with a proven focus on Portfolio-level transitions.Professional Background: 5 years of experience in Engineering, IT, or related technical fields.Portfolio & Budgeting Mastery: Demonstrated experience guiding Agile portfolios, managing Lean budgeting, and transitioning regulated environments from Waterfall to Agile.Technical Tooling: Proficiency in enterprise Agile tools, specifically Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, and AgilityHealth.Communication & Strategy: Strategic thinker with elite facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Travel: Ability to travel quarterly along the Northeast corridor for PI Planning events.
