DAY-TO-DAY: The successful candidate will act as a technical lead for multi-discipline teams, specializing in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for healthcare, education, government, and industrial facilities. Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as Lead Engineer and Engineer of Record (with PE), producing and stamping design drawings, specifications, and assessments.
- Ensure completion of mechanical design tasks within budget and on schedule while overseeing construction progress and field reports.
- Direct system evaluations and design computations using REVIT and AutoCAD software.
- Act as the primary client contact and coordinate seamlessly with other discipline professionals and stakeholders.
- Train staff in design best practices and assist in developing new work and client relationships within the sector.
- Maintain expert knowledge of local, state, and federal design standards and regulations.
- 5 years of applicable electrical or mechanical engineering experience.
- Bachelor of Science Degree; ideally in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification
- Experience utilizing Revit and/or AutoCAD in a similar field.
- Skilled in Microsoft Suite and Bluebeam.
- Experience within medium and low voltage.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record.
