DAY-TO-DA
Y:The successful candidate will play a key role within our Water/Wastewater grou
p,specializing in planning and design. Key responsibilities includ
e:• Prepare utility designs, plans, and specifications for permitting and construction
ofwater distribution and wastewater collection projects (including water main
s,gravity sewers, pipelines, pump stations, and storage tanks
).• Manage technical, budgetary, and client aspects of multiple projects, includi
nggovernmental projects and site work for private and water and sewer utilitie
s.• Perform hydraulic modeling to assist in water and wastewater planning and desi
gnefforts; assist in preparing master planning studie
s.• Work in tandem with construction administration efforts for water distribution a
ndwastewater collection system project
s.• Work effectively across a flexible workload and diverse projects with multiple sta
ffmembers, including mentoring and delegating work to entry-level staf
f.• Occasional travel within a couple of hours of the Greenville, SC office (milea
gereimbursement provided
).
WHAT YOU'LL NE
ED:• 4 years of applicable water/wastewater engineering experien
ce.• Bachelor of Science Degree; preferably in Engineeri
ng.• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; knowledge of Civil 3D, GIS, or Revit is preferr
ed.• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; (a PE is not strictly required to appl
y).• Strong technical experience with pipelines, pump stations, and/or construct
ionadministrati
on.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, along with strong writing and verbal communicat
ionskil
ls.• Valid driver’s licen
se.
