Quality Inspector (2nd & 3rd Shift)Shift Options:2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AMSummary: Operate injection molding machines, inspect parts for quality, separate and document defects, and package products according to requirements. Report any defect rates over allowable limits. Support the shift supervisor and lead operator with coverage during breaks/lunches.Key Responsibilities:Run injection molding machines per instructionsInspect, sort, and package partsRecord and separate defective parts, using required formsNotify lead/technician when defect levels are too highCover for breaks/lunches as neededPerform visual, dimensional, and first-article inspections (ISO 9001 / ISO 13485)Use SPC for critical dimensionsUse test equipment (e.g., smart scope, micrometers, calipers, gauges)Maintain inspection records and non-conformance reports (NCMRs)Keep work area clean and organizedCommunicate effectively across shiftsSkills & Abilities:Simple mathQuality inspection experienceStrong attention to detailGood organizational and communication skillsReliable attendance and time managementBasic computer skills
