Job Description:
As a Plumbing Dispatcher, you will be the hub of our team, ensuring efficient scheduling and coordination of service calls. You’ll work closely with our plumbers and customers, ensuring that service calls are handled quickly, professionally, and with excellent customer care. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, proactive communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatch plumbing technicians to service calls based on location, priority, and technician skill set.
- Manage and update service schedules in real-time, ensuring efficient routing.
- Answer customer inquiries, provide updates on service calls, and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records of customer information, service requests, and job progress.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure availability of necessary parts and equipment.
- Track job statuses and ensure timely completion of services.
- Assist with customer follow-ups to ensure satisfaction on every and after jobs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dispatch & home service role preferred.
- Knowledge of plumbing terminology and services is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficient in basic computer skills (dispatch software, Microsoft Office, etc.).
- Positive attitude and willingness to help customers and team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
