Company: Expert Home Buyers
Location: Frederick, Maryland
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000 per year plus performance-based commission
Schedule: Monday–Friday 9am-6pm
About Expert Home Buyers
Expert Home Buyers is a growing real estate investment company that purchases properties throughout Maryland, Virginia, and New Jersey. We specialize in buying homes as-is and helping homeowners, real estate agents, and other professionals navigate properties that may require repairs, flexible terms, or a fast and reliable closing.
We are looking for a motivated, outgoing, and relationship-driven Realtor Acquisition Specialist to build a strong network of Maryland real estate agents and generate investment opportunities for our company.
Position Overview
Your primary responsibility will be to develop long-term relationships with real estate agents who regularly encounter distressed properties, fixer-uppers, inherited homes, difficult listings, and sellers who may benefit from a cash or as-is sale.
This is not simply a high-volume cold-calling position. We are looking for someone who can prospect consistently, communicate professionally, build trust, follow up, and turn new contacts into long-term referral partners.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and connect with real estate agents throughout Maryland
- Build relationships with investor-friendly and high-producing agents
- Identify distressed, off-market, value-add, and difficult-to-sell properties
- Explain how Expert Home Buyers can assist agents and their clients
- Follow up consistently with new and existing agent relationships
- Obtain property information and submit opportunities for underwriting
- Coordinate with the acquisitions team to provide timely feedback and offers
- Maintain accurate notes, follow-up tasks, and activity in the company CRM
- Stay in contact with agents throughout the transaction process
- Develop repeat business and referral relationships
- Meet weekly outreach, conversation, pipeline, and production goals
Compensation
This position includes:
- $48,000 annual base salary
- 5% of collected net profit on the first agent-sourced deal closed during a calendar month
- 7.5% of collected net profit on the second agent-sourced deal closed during the same month
- 10% of collected net profit on the third and each additional agent-sourced deal closed during the same month
Performance compensation is paid on qualifying agent-sourced transactions after the transaction closes and the company receives its proceeds.
Earnings example
If two agent-sourced transactions close during one month and each produces $20,000 in collected net profit:
- Monthly base salary: $4,000
- First closing commission: $1,000
- Second closing commission: $1,500
- Total monthly compensation: $6,500
If three agent-sourced transactions close during one month and each produces $20,000 in collected net profit:
- Monthly base salary: $4,000
- First closing commission: $1,000
- Second closing commission: $1,500
- Third closing commission: $2,000
- Total monthly compensation: $8,500
This example is for illustration and does not guarantee earnings.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable making outbound calls and following up consistently
- Professional, confident, and personable
- Able to build relationships rather than rely on one-time sales pitches
- Organized and capable of managing a large contact pipeline
- Self-motivated and comfortable working toward measurable goals
- Responsive and able to communicate quickly regarding active opportunities
- Comfortable learning real estate terminology, property values, and investment criteria
- Experience in sales, real estate, recruiting, business development, customer service, or relationship management is preferred
- Familiarity with the Maryland real estate market is a plus
What Success Looks Like
During the first 90 days, the successful candidate will be expected to:
- Build a consistent daily outreach and follow-up routine
- Develop a growing pipeline of qualified Maryland agents
- Generate legitimate property submissions
- Maintain organized and accurate CRM records
- Build toward producing approximately one to two qualified contracts per month
- Turn productive agents into repeat referral partners
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is competitive, coachable, persistent, and comfortable speaking with new people every day. You understand that meaningful business relationships are built through consistency, responsiveness, and trust.
You are not discouraged by rejection, and you are willing to follow up multiple times to create opportunities. You want a position where your performance can directly increase your income and create long-term career growth.
