We are seeking a dedicated Paralegal/ Office Assistant/Medical Assistant/Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to attorneys and enhance the overall efficiency of the practice law office. *Duties*
- Conduct document review to assist in case preparation
- Assist in preparing legal documents, including organization of records for later review
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic files
- Utilize legal software such as CLIO and other tools as needed
- Provide administrative support
*Qualifications*
- Previous experience in a legal administrative or office assisttant admin role is preferred
- Familiarity with medical/law office operations
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of legal software
- Ability to work efficiently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, email, Adobe Acrobat (beneficial)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Manage records and information
- Create appointments and clients records in legal software
- Plan and maintain work facilities
- Provide administrative assistance to management team
- Encourage and improve cross-department internal communication
- Organizational skills imperative
- Organize and prepare necessary records for client meetings/interviews
- Update tasks and supplemental reports required
- Perform other office tasks (replenish office supplies, distribute mail, custodial duties, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in administrative services or other related fields
- Experience as legal secretary, medical assistant or paralegal helpful
- Have ability to use and/or learn Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently
- Must be computer capable and able to learn
- Willingness to market company and attract new associates a PLUS
- Strong leadership qualities
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
