What are the responsibilities and job description for the Investment Banking Specialist position at Expert Dojo?
This is a contract-based role for an Investment Banking Specialist, based in Bengaluru South, focused on supporting the firm’s fundraising initiatives.
In this role, you will identify and engage potential investors such as HNIs, family offices, investment bankers, founders, and institutional partners, presenting Expert Dojo’s venture investment opportunity and facilitating introductions for the fund.
You will work closely with the leadership team to communicate the fund’s structure, value proposition, and portfolio exposure, helping investors understand how they can participate in the opportunity. The role involves outreach strategy, relationship building, and supporting the investor onboarding process.
This position is ideal for professionals with strong networks in finance, investment banking, wealth management, or startup ecosystems who are interested in performance-based compensation with significant upside potential.
This is a performance-based contract role with attractive commission incentives:
• 2% commission on investments up to $500K
• 3% commission on investments above $500K

• Strong network of HNIs, family offices, wealth managers, founders, or investment professionals
• Experience in investment banking, wealth management, venture capital, private markets, or fundraising
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to clearly present investment opportunities and articulate value propositions
• Understanding of venture capital or alternative investments is preferred
• Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a performance-based environment
• Familiarity with startup ecosystems, private markets, or investor relations is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field preferred
