Supply Chain Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing and supply chain industry, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Supply Chain Technician to join their team. As a Supply Chain Technician, you will be an integral part of the Site Operations team, supporting critical functions that ensure the smooth and efficient movement of materials within the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality standards, which will enable you to thrive in this dynamic environment.

What's the Job?

• Coordinate with trucking companies to schedule shipments, ensuring adherence to freight procedures and bill of lading guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain the temperature of building coolers and freezers to ensure optimal storage conditions.
• Support trial excellence by ensuring the timely availability of materials and proactively resolving supply or delivery issues.
• Follow purchasing and shipping processes for domestic and international shipments, maintaining compliance with company policies.
• Assist in breaking down incoming materials, repacking them appropriately for use, and troubleshooting ingredient information in accordance with quality guidelines.
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in warehousing, food manufacturing, or culinary environments.
• Valid, current Ohio Driver’s License with a safe driving record; experience driving a box truck is a plus.
• Ability to recognize and respond to safety alerts, alarms, and hazardous conditions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn warehouse management systems.
• Willingness to work in physically demanding environments, including extreme temperatures, and adapt to changing schedules, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
