Our client, a leading organization in the market sales and data analytics technology sector, is seeking a Sr Product Owner/ BA - Business Reporting to join their team. As a Sr Product Owner/ BA - Business Reporting, you will be part of the Performance Reporting, BI & Machine Learning department supporting global teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent relationship management, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Sr Product Owner/ BA - Business Reporting
Location: Jersey City, NJ (3 days onsite every week)
What's the Job?
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear requirements.
- Prioritize and refine features and user stories within the product backlog for agile delivery.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure user interface designs meet user needs and project goals.
- Coordinate with development teams to ensure timely delivery of features aligned with business objectives.
- Participate in testing, UAT, and review processes to ensure quality and functionality of software solutions.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a product business analyst or project manager in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret customer needs into technical requirements using agile methodologies.
- Excellent relationship management, communication, and teamwork skills, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Technical understanding of relational databases, SQL, APIs, and system integrations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information/Computer Science or related field, with certifications in Project Management, Business Analysis, or Agile methodologies preferred.
