What's the Job?
- Work hands-on with MongoDB collections containing inconsistent document structures and normalize them into a common, consumable output schema
- Analyze and model semi-structured data where fields may vary by document (e.g., multiple address fields vs. a single address object)
- Design and implement normalization logic using MongoDB capabilities (e.g., aggregation pipelines, projections, conditional logic)
- Produce standardized datasets for reporting, analytics, or downstream applications
- Partner with product, engineering, and analytics teams to define data requirements and expected outputs
- Strong hands-on MongoDB experience
- Real experience working with documents of varying structure
- Ability to normalize different document shapes into a single, consistent output
- Data modeling & normalization expertise
- Experience handling schema‑on‑read scenarios
