Senior Power BI Developer

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to join their team. As a Senior Power BI Developer, you will be part of the Data Analytics Department supporting the Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Power BI Developer

Location: Alpharetta, Georgia (Hybrid – minimum 3 days per week onsite)

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports tailored for executive audiences, both internal and external.
• Translate complex financial data into clear, intuitive visualizations and storytelling dashboards.
• Migrate and rewrite existing reports into modern, interactive Power BI dashboards, improving usability and insight delivery.
• Collaborate with finance, business, and technology stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality analytical solutions.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support reporting and analytics needs.
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance or related field.
• At least 12 years of hands-on experience designing and developing dashboards and reports, with a strong focus on Power BI.
• Demonstrated expertise in building executive-friendly financial dashboards with strong UI/UX design principles.
• Experience in migrating and rewriting existing reports into modern dashboards is highly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, joins, and performance optimization.
