Job Title:Senior Insurance Business Analyst

What's the Job?
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Retail Life Insurance products and actuarial processes.
- Collaborate with actuarial, product, underwriting, policy administration, and IT teams to define business solutions and drive system enhancements.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Support product development and actuarial initiatives including pricing, valuation, reserve calculations, and regulatory reporting.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement walkthroughs, UAT sessions, and support testing by developing test scenarios and validating business outcomes.
- Strong experience in Retail Life Insurance with in-depth knowledge of Term Life, Whole Life (WL), Universal Life (UL), and Variable Universal Life (VUL).
- Actuarial domain expertise including pricing and product development, reserves and statutory reporting, and mortality and lapse assumptions.
- Experience working with actuarial teams and actuarial calculations, including risk analysis and profitability studies.
- Business analysis skills including requirement gathering and elicitation, BRD/FRD development, user stories and use cases, process mapping, and gap analysis.
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies, plus strong stakeholder management and documentation skills.
- Opportunity to contribute to Retail Life Insurance and actuarial transformation initiatives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams across business, actuarial, and technology stakeholders.
- Hands-on involvement in requirements, process improvement, and UAT support for life insurance systems.
