What's the Job?
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop next-generation sequencing assays for clinical use.
- Prepare samples, operate instruments, analyze data, and write study protocols and reports.
- Contribute to the development of diagnostic assays that meet regulatory standards.
- Participate in product verification and validation processes to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain strict adherence to molecular biology protocols and laboratory safety standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology or a related field with 2 years of industry or academic experience, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven skills in molecular biology techniques including DNA, RNA, and protein handling, PCR, and qPCR.
- Knowledge of sequencing and molecular amplification methods, with experience in next-generation sequencing, preferably with Ion Torrent Technologies.
- Proficiency in basic data analysis and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to follow detailed molecular biology protocols and work effectively in a busy, collaborative laboratory environment.
