What's the Job?
- Define and drive the enterprise automation testing strategy aligned with organizational quality objectives.
- Architect, design, and govern scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks across UI, API, database, and integration layers.
- Establish automation standards, best practices, coding guidelines, and quality engineering processes across teams.
- Lead automation efforts for cloud-native, microservices, and distributed system architectures, integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines for Continuous Testing and Shift-Left quality.
- Define key quality metrics, automation KPIs, and reporting dashboards to measure testing effectiveness and release readiness.
- Experience in Quality Engineering and Test Automation, with 4 years as a Test Automation Lead.
- Expertise designing and implementing enterprise-scale automation frameworks using Robot Framework, Selenium, and API automation tools.
- Strong programming experience in Python and/or Java for test framework development.
- Deep expertise in API testing, contract validation, service virtualization, and microservices testing.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including Azure DevOps, Cosmos DB, and cloud-native architectures, plus experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure Pipelines.
- Opportunity to lead enterprise-level test governance and automation standards that directly impact release readiness.
- Work on CI/CD and Continuous Testing integrations using Azure DevOps and related tooling.
- Build and evolve automation frameworks across UI, API, and data validation layers with modern testing approaches.
- Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Product Owners, Development Leads, DevOps Engineers, and Business Stakeholders to improve application testability.
- Mentor and coach QA engineers and automation teams on framework design, coding standards, and automation best practices.
