Power Systems Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Power Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Power Systems Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Engineering Department supporting the Power Systems team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a strong drive to succeed, and the ability to think critically and adapt to evolving processes, which will enable you to thrive within the organization.

Job Title: Power Systems Engineer

Location: Carmel, Indiana

What's the Job?

• Develop and validate EMS models to support power system analysis and planning
• Utilize Python scripting to automate and enhance modeling processes
• Collaborate with RTO or utility teams to ensure system reliability and efficiency
• Engage in IDC modeling activities to improve system performance
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of modeling methodologies and tools
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of modeling experience, especially EMS models
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Experience working with RTO or utility companies
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
• Adaptability to changing processes and a drive for continuous learning
