Network Engineer IV

Our client, a leading technology infrastructure organization, is seeking a Network Engineer IV to join their team. As a Network Engineer IV, you will be part of the Network Operations Department supporting global network engineering and automation teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Arlington, VA, US

Pay Range: $65/hr

What’s the Job?

• Deploy, manage, and automate large-scale network infrastructure.
• Design scalable and efficient network solutions across global platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and deliver innovative resolutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network changes safely and efficiently.
• Maintain high levels of reliability and quality in network operations.
  
  
  

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant networking certifications.
• Minimum 7 years of industry experience in networking.
• Expertise in major router platforms (Cisco 37xx, 49xx, 65xx, 73xx, 76xx) and compatible supervisory/line cards.
• Strong knowledge of internet routing protocols, specifically BGP and OSPF.
• Hands-on experience with protocols/technologies including DWDM, T1/DS1, DS3, SONET, VLANs/STP, IPv4/IPv6, HSRP/GLBP, PIMv2, IPSEC/VPNs, NetFlow, DNS, HTTP.
