Merchandise Lead

Our client, a leader in the motorsports industry, is seeking a Merchandise Lead to join their team. As a Merchandise Lead, you will be part of the Merchandise Planning department supporting the Honda Racing team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a creative mindset, and excellent organizational abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Merchandise Lead

Location: Torrance, CA

Pay Range: $95,000 – $105,000

What's the Job?

• Develop and execute merchandise strategies that align with Honda Racing’s brand identity and business goals.
• Analyze fashion trends and recommend design collaborations to reach new audiences.
• Plan seasonal product assortments, pricing strategies, and inventory levels to maximize revenue and fan engagement.
• Collaborate with Honda Motor, HRC US engineers, and engine designers to ensure merchandise reflects Honda’s racing heritage.
• Manage the HRC merchandise team for design execution, merchandise planning, and production.
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 5 years of experience specializing in apparel merchandising in motorsports.
• Proven track record in developing product assortments and driving revenue growth.
• Strong ability to blend financial acumen with creative merchandising and trend forecasting.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with attention to detail.
