Medical Device Systems Integration Engineer

Our client, a leader in the medical device development industry, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be part of the R&D department supporting innovative projects in healthcare technology. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, collaborative spirit, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

Location: Bellevue, WA. HYBRID.

Duration: 12 months with the possibility of extension/conversion

Pay Range: $76.75/hr w2

What's the Job?

• Evaluate system integration points and lead planning and testing activities across complex medical device ecosystems.
• Develop and execute comprehensive verification and validation test plans to ensure system performance, safety, and security.
• Create system models, perform risk analyses, and develop mitigation strategies for end-to-end systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to analyze system performance, reliability, and data integrity from device data collection to cloud processing.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in applying systems engineering standards and best practices throughout the product lifecycle.
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Biomedical, Computer, or Systems Engineering, or related fields.
• 5 years of experience in systems engineering, particularly with connected medical devices or complex integrated systems.
• Proficiency in automation, scripting (Python preferred), and familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps.
• Strong debugging skills and experience with hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of medical device regulations, quality systems, and data privacy standards.
