What's the Job?
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve automated production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure the safety of production equipment by adhering to regulations and industry standards.
- Identify and correct unsafe conditions related to electrical safety, shielding, guarding, safety interlocks, and emergency stops.
- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks and adjust requirements as necessary to minimize downtime.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve quality, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; advanced education in a scientific field is preferred.
- 3-5 years of technical mechanical and/or electrical experience or a combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting automated equipment, electronics, sensors, motors, servos, and pneumatics.
- Strong mechanical skills, including disassembly, repairs, and reassembly of complex equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in PC applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
