Our client, a leading organization in the medical device and materials science industry, is seeking a dedicated Associate Scientist II to join their innovative team. As an integral part of the Materials Science department supporting project teams, you will contribute to advancing medical technologies through precise material characterization and analysis. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for scientific discovery, aligning successfully within a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Pay Range

What's the Job?

• Perform material characterization using techniques such as DSC, TGA, FTIR, and SEM to support medical device projects.
• Collaborate with scientists and project teams to define and execute test plans.
• Conduct hands-on laboratory analysis and testing in a fast-paced environment.
• Document experiments and test results accurately in electronic notebook systems following regulatory guidelines.
• Analyze data, draft technical reports, and communicate findings effectively to team members.
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• 1-3 years of experience with materials characterization techniques such as DSC, TGA, FTIR, and SEM.
• Bachelor’s degree in materials science, chemistry, or a closely related field.
• Ability to operate analytical instrumentation and document laboratory work according to GMP standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
