Associate Scientist I

Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare and diagnostics industry, is seeking an Associate Scientist I to join their team. As an Associate Scientist I, you will be part of the Laboratory Support Department supporting Verification and Data Analysis Teams. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, strong data analytics capabilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Write and execute system-related verification and characterization protocols for hardware, software, and assays.
• Support data package summaries in accordance with governing procedures.
• Operate instruments at a basic level and perform repairs as needed.
• Assist in troubleshooting hardware, software, and assay performance issues across multiple system functions.
• Apply quantitative methods to analyze data, evaluate results, draw conclusions, and suggest improvements.
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in data analytics and laboratory procedures.
• Basic PC skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience with ARCHITECT and Alinity I platforms, and knowledge of regulations affecting IVDs and Biologics.
