What's the Job?
- Monitor and manage multiple batch processes to ensure successful completion, investigating and resolving any issues that arise.
- Respond promptly to alerts, analyze issues, and implement resolutions to maintain system stability.
- Create and update support documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and process improvements.
- Manage incidents by documenting issues clearly, maintaining open communication, and following escalation procedures.
- Provide application support by troubleshooting and resolving user inquiries, researching root causes, and recommending preventative measures.
- 3-5 years of experience in an application support role supporting client applications.
- Strong knowledge of Autosys, UNIX, and Shell scripting.
- Good understanding of SQL, Oracle or similar DBMS, and Hadoop.
- Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent issues and requests effectively.
- Quick learner with the motivation to continuously improve skills and environment.
