What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Manager position at Experience Butler County?
Experience Butler County is seeking a seasoned sales professional in the tourism and hospitality industry who is goal-oriented, with a proven sales track record. Past experience in hospitality sales markets is preferred.
This position will serve as one of the Experience Butler County’s liaisons to increase travel and tourism in Butler County. Duties include; establishing relationships with key officials and decision-makers; sourcing leads; booking groups and events; managing, coordinating and facilitating sales efforts; participating in sales calls; working with Butler County hotels and venues to sell the destination; and planning and implementing familiarization tours and site inspections for customers. Duties also include tracking and maintaining account activity and customer lead database records and preparing detailed reports.
The successful candidate will have a positive attitude and be extremely organized with excellent communication skills. Candidates must have the ability to work well with others and be self-motivated for results. Must be able to travel and have a valid driver’s license. Weekend and evening travel is required at times for trade shows and industry-related events.
