The Digital Content Creator is a full-time, on-site role based in Butler, PA, responsible for developing and managing digital content promoting Butler County’s tourism offerings. This role involves planning and producing engaging content for social media platforms, website, email campaigns, and other digital channels, including copywriting, graphic design, and short-form video. The Digital Content Creator will collaborate with internal staff and local partners to gather information, create story ideas, and highlight events, attractions, and businesses throughout the county.
Daily tasks include updating digital platforms, maintaining a consistent brand voice, monitoring engagement metrics, and adjusting content strategies to increase reach and audience interaction. The role may also involve occasional on-site coverage of community events, photography, and coordination with external vendors or agencies as needed.
- Craft and execute innovative communication strategies across social media, email, and video.
- Produce engaging graphic design work and high-quality video content that brings our brand voice to life.
- Capture the spirit of our events and partners through professional photography and video.
- Monitor and analyze social media effectiveness to continuously refine our outreach.
- Create and maintain engaging website content to keep our online presence fresh and relevant
- Proven experience in marketing and media or a similar strategic creative role.
- BA in Marketing, Multimedia, or a related field.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Lightroom) and Canva.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple creative projects simultaneously.
