Field Technician

About the Role
We are seeking a Field Technician to join our Denver, Colorado team. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position designed for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and are excited by work that takes place in the field — not behind a desk.
As a Field Technician, you will respond to day-to-day calls, property loss and emergency related events, working directly on-site to mitigate damage and support recovery efforts. This position operates on a 24/7 on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You’ll have the opportunity to work on unique, high-impact job sites and travel to locations most people never get to see — all while building specialized technical skills with state-of-the-art equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls and deploy to job sites as needed
- Conduct initial site walks to assess damage and assist with developing action plans
- Perform field work involving large-scale industrial generators ranging from 25kW to 1,200kW, including deployment, setup, operation, monitoring, and support at active job sites.
- Operate specialized equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and scrubbers
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and manlifts when required
- Document job progress through photos, reports, and written documentation for insurance and internal records
- Communicate clearly and professionally with direct clients, property owners, insurance adjusters, and internal management
- Maintain and care for company vehicles, tools, and equipment to ensure operational readiness
- Participate in required training to remain current on safety procedures and industry best practices
- Follow all health, safety, and PPE requirements to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in field work, restoration, construction, remediation, or a related trade preferred
- Certifications in water damage restoration, fire/smoke restoration, or mold remediation are a plus
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting heavy equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Availability for a 24/7 on-call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability and willingness to travel as required for projects and emergency response
Working Conditions
- Work performed in damaged residential, commercial, and industrial properties
- Physical labor including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
- Exposure to variable environments and conditions
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
- Non-traditional hours and travel based on emergency response needs

Pay Range
- $20 - $30 hourly (dependent on experience and knowledge)
- eligible for overtime
