Facilities Maintenance Technician

 seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support overnight operations at a manufacturing facility in Woburn, MA. The technician will troubleshoot facility issues, respond to alarms and emergencies, and provide general maintenance support during off-shift hours.

The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded maintenance background, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) troubleshooting experience. Candidates should be comfortable working independently overnight and following established safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary facility maintenance support during overnight hours.
• Respond to facility alarms, emergencies, and maintenance issues.
• Perform general facility troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Monitor facility conditions and communicate issues that require attention.
• Learn site-specific processes and systems before taking on more critical responsibilities.
• Follow health, safety, and fall protection protocols.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Hands-on maintenance experience with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Comfort using computers and technology-based systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Office applications.
• Ability to learn and navigate specific software platforms; training will be provided.
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC technician experience.
• Plumbing experience.
• Mechanical maintenance experience.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Broad, multi-trade maintenance experience.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade school enrollment or completion preferred.
• Candidates without formal trade education should demonstrate relevant hands-on maintenance experience.
• Experience requirements are flexible and depend on the candidate’s overall qualifications and skill set.

• Manufacturing facility.
