Analyze business requests to be solved with automated systems. Formulate and design automated systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Provide expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that meet user requirements and are within stated sizing estimates. Configure system settings and options; plan and execute business design, assist in integration and acceptance testing, where necessary; and create specifications for system to meet business requirements. Include analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
Experienced in Scrum/Agile SDLC; working with scrum masters and product managers to achieve overall sprint management
Comfortable working with JIRA/Atlassian products and comfortable using Slack
Proactively identifing and remove roadblocks
Facilitating work with downstream technical stakeholders
User Acceptance Testing
Working seamlessly across Product Management, UX, and various stakeholders to drive actionable requirements

POS manages end-to-end restaurant operations (hardware software)
Hardware runs on Android and iOS devices
Experience with Toast or Clover is helpful but not required
Work Model & Location
Location: Charlotte
Onsite: Preference for 3 days onsite; flexible on which days (candidate choice)

Product Manager (what is needed)
Principal Software Engineer (technical guidance)
Ensure user stories are outcome-focused for end users
Maintain and prioritize the team backlog (stories, bugs, tasks, tech debt)
Lead backlog refinement sessions
Ensure story sequencing and timing align with delivery deadlines
Perform final acceptance of stories (future state)
Present completed feature tickets to the Product Manager for final review
Partner with Technical Writing to document guides and features
Coordinate with Dev Manager on regular releases, including:
Release verification meetings
Feature flag documentation and enablement with PM
Maintain feature flags and create cleanup tickets post-GA
Requirements
Experience prioritized over degree
No coding required, but technical understanding of APIs is expected
Experienced in Scrum/Agile SDLC; working with scrum masters and product managers to achieve overall sprint management
