We are seeking a qualified School Physical Therapist who will serve as a valuable partner to our students, helping them navigate their daily tasks and achieve their personal best in terms of physical functionality. The School Physical Therapist will play a crucial role in maximizing the quality of life and movement potential of our students, employing a range of techniques in promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation.
Work Setting: School-Based; Onsite
Location: Los Angeles, CA (In the surrounding area)
Employment Type: Per Diem (Variable)
Pay Range: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour

What You’ll Do
- Engage with students to understand their physical conditions, symptoms, and any challenges they may be facing.
- Diagnosing Movement Dysfunction: Utilize expertise to diagnose movement dysfunctions and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each student.
- Treatment Planning: Design and implement effective treatment plans aimed at improving students' physical functionality and overall well-being.
- Educate students on proper exercise techniques and provide guidance on incorporating these techniques into their daily routines.
- Collaborate with other members of the educational team, including teachers, counselors, and administrators, to ensure a holistic approach to student support and development.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of student progress, treatment plans, and interventions.
- Other duties may be assigned
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with students, parents, and fellow staff members.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field of physical therapy.
