Required:
Develop electrical and control system design solutions based on engineering principles.
Evaluate P&IDs to determine I/O requirements.
Develop electrical schematics, panel layouts, and bill of materials
Obtain quotes from vendors and order materials.
Design control panels per NEC & UL standards.
Develop proposals and quotations
Evaluate new or alternate products.
Assist with the development of new product offers to meet market needs.

Project Management
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-year experience designing industrial electrical control systems.
- Control Panel Design: 2 years (Required)
- Control Panel Fabrication: 1 year (Preferred)
- Programmable Logic Controllers, HMI, Scada: 2 years (Preferred)
- Must have knowledge and understanding of AC / DC power circuits, pushbuttons, circuit breakers, power supplies, overloads, contactors, relays, motors, VFD's, PLC's
- Must understand National Electrical Code (NFPA 70)
- Ability to perform conductor sizing and de-rating
- Ability to interpret UL standards for Intrinsically safe and UL Hazardous locations.
- Perform three phase and single-phase load calculations
- Perform short circuit calculations
- Must be Proficient with AutoCAD
- Experience with Eplan P8 and Pro Panel preferred
- Electrical Engineering Degree (Preferred)
- 2-year associate degree (minimum)
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, customers, and vendors
- Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain professionalism among co-workers and customers
- Must be dependable; trustworthy; and possess a positive and productive attitude
- Willing and able to work a flexible schedule that includes extended hours
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
The position reports to the Panel Solutions Engineering Manager and must have a sound working relationship with all management, supervisors, foremen, and technicians in their designated area.
