Pincushion Hill Montessori School is seeking a warm, experienced, and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our school community for the 2026–2027 school year.
Our Kindergarten classroom serves a small group of 9 children ages 5–6, providing an intimate environment where teachers can build strong relationships with each child and support their academic, social, emotional, and practical development.
About the Position
- Full-time Kindergarten Teacher
- Small class of up to 10 children
- Montessori-inspired, child-centered environment
- Daily opportunities for learning both indoors and outdoors
- Supportive school community with a strong commitment to individualized education
- School hours: 8:30 AM–3:30 PM, with additional responsibilities as needed
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with kindergarten-aged children
- Is nurturing, patient, organized, and dependable
- Values hands-on, child-centered learning
- Enjoys spending time outdoors and incorporating nature into the classroom
- Can create a calm, engaging, and respectful classroom environment
- Works collaboratively with colleagues and families
- Has Montessori experience or training, preferred
