Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EEC Certified Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for infants and toddlers. Your expertise in early childhood education, combined with your ability to develop innovative curriculum and manage classroom dynamics, will inspire young learners to explore, grow, and thrive. Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to infants and toddlers, incorporating best practices in early intervention, literacy education, and childhood development
  • Foster a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes social-emotional growth and physical well-being
  • Manage daily classroom activities including lesson planning, circle time, play-based learning, and physical education activities
  • Use effective behavior management techniques to support positive behavior and address challenges with patience and consistency
  • Collaborate with families to communicate children’s progress, developmental milestones, and any special needs or interventions required
  • Maintain accurate records of child development assessments, attendance, and individualized plans in compliance with licensing standards
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations related to childcare and daycare environments

Experience

  • Valid EEC (Early Education and Care) certification specific to infant/toddler care is required
  • Proven classroom experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare or preschool programs
  • Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management for infants and toddlers
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, colleagues, and community partners
