Be our next Senior Project Architect
Your work environment at EXP
In this role, you will be a part of the Aviation, Transit and Commercial Buildings team, of the Buildings Sector , based in Atlanta, Georgia .
A Project Architect represents the Firm's interests through effective project leadership and actions that advance the Firm's mission and business interests. The Project Architect speaks for the Firm and conducts him / herself in a manner commensurate with a position of leadership and mentoring within the Firm. Your responsibilities include :
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Lead and coordinate the technical development of projects working under Project Managers and Principals from Conceptual Design through Construction Documents and Construction Phase.
- Ability to coordinate with a multi-discipline team of architects and engineers, both in-house staff and outside subconsultants, ensuring the project is detailed and executed to maintain the design concept with technical astuteness and within the project budget.
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Develop presentation documents and participate in presentations to clients
- Develop design concepts under the leadership of the Principal Designer
- Participate in design phase activities by providing expertise in detail development
- Develop construction drawings and specifications for all project phases
- Ensure that designs meet applicable building code requirements
- Assist with all corresponding bid and construction phase activities in the office and in the field
