Your Challenge
EXP is currently searching for a Project Manager/Senior Electrical Engineer for our Hospitality & Gaming group for our Maitland, Florida location.
Your Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and qualify RFP/ RFQ’s and upcoming projects for go/no go potential
- Direct and lead submittals in response to RFP/ RFQ’s.
- Manage existing and develop new client relationships
- Perform at a ‘responsible charge’ level; meeting exp’s design and quality levels
- Manage work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours
- Work with project team and clients to meet scheduled project milestones on multiple projects
- Apply risk management procedures daily to minimize exp’s and client’s exposure to problems
- Understand MEP/FP work planning and manage design process to the available hours in work plan
- Understand proper scope of MEP/FP SD, DD, CD level documents – and deliver appropriate documentation
- Coordinates with other disciplines (MEP/FP, architectural, structural, etc)
- Edit and develop scope of work narratives (SD narrative, basis of design, etc)
- Develop equipment room sizes during SD and DD phases
- Thorough knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical codes
- Advanced equipment selection and analysis (generators, UPS units, chillers, boilers)
- Be able to direct and mentor designer level staff on all of their responsibilities on a daily basis
- QA/QC reviews of all calculations by designers, and provide guidance and mentoring
The Skills and Knowledge You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 10 years Electrical design experience
- Registered Professional Engineer in State of Florida required.
- 7 years of hospitality facility design
The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $170,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location. Compensation may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor.
