Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, submit, and track permit applications and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with local, state, and regulatory agencies to resolve permitting issues and requirements.
- Monitor permit status, approvals, expirations, inspections, and required renewals.
- Review plans and documentation for completeness and compliance with agency requirements.
- Maintain accurate permit logs, records, correspondence, and project documentation.
- Coordinate inspections and communicate inspection requirements and results to project teams.
- Identify potential permitting delays and proactively communicate impacts to project schedules.
- Assist project managers with permitting schedules, regulatory requirements, and compliance.
- Coordinate responses to agency comments, revisions, and requests for additional information.
- Ensure all required permits are obtained before construction activities begin and remain in compliance throughout the project.
- Permit related experience.
- High school diploma plus 4 years of FDOT permit related experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Advanced MOT/TTC
- Teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
