Your work environment at EXP
EXP’s Transportation and Infrastructure Practice provides comprehensive planning, design and construction engineering services for all types of roadway, bridge, water resource, rail, transit and aviation projects. With a unique multidisciplinary team approach, we have a history of successfully delivering complex infrastructure projects. We are currently looking to grow and enhance our construction engineering and inspection (CE I) practice and are seeking an energetic Documentation Technician to work within our Chicago Office.

- Strong computer (Office, e-Builder) proficiency
- Considerable Heavy / Highway construction industry knowledge with emphasis on IDOT and Tollway projects
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends and nights
- Must have and maintain a good driving record
What your experience looks like
- Effectively communicate with client, contractor(s), project stakeholder(s) and team members
- Set-up and maintain field office records
- 15 years of IDOT and Construction experience
- Check documentation prepared by others
- Prepare and track pay estimates and change orders
- Check force account billings
- Maintain material documentation
- Manage lane closure requests
- Assist with field inspections
The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $127,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location. Compensation may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor.
