Duties
- Safely operate a box truck or
driver vehicle along designated delivery routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols - Load and unload products using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring items are secured properly for transit
- Deliver goods directly to customers’ locations with professionalism and a focus on outstanding customer service
- Verify delivery accuracy by inspecting shipments and obtaining signatures or proof of delivery as required
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records throughout each shift
- Assist in warehouse tasks such as organizing stock, replenishing supplies, and preparing shipments for dispatch
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs to ensure safe operation at all times
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong focus on route driving and customer interaction
- Warehouse experience including loading/unloading, inventory management, or forklift operation preferred
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or
driver certification required; experience with manual transmission is advantageous - Familiarity with heavy lifting, moving heavy items safely, and operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving and warehouse operations
- Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
