The EXOVATIONS of Atlanta, LLC (EXO)’s Carpenter position plays a vital role in the installation of decks, porches, windows, and doors. Carpenters are valued members of a team to provide the best customer experience possible. Carpenters are provided opportunities to learn and grow within a four-tiered process, and are expected to be team players and self-motivated.

Position Scope

- Becomes familiar with all power/pneumatic tools used by EXO
- Keeps the jobsite clean and material organized daily
- Keeps truck and tools organized daily
- Gains proficiency in installation of all EXO products
- Offers to help others as needed
- Learns to read blueprints and understands code
- May travel by car/truck or other modes of transportation to perform essential duties of position
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Lead Carpenter (LC), other management personnel or more senior level Carpenters
- All physical requirements are performed for the duration of an 8–10-hour shift.
- Wears personnel protective equipment as required; safety glasses, dust mask, gloves, safety harness to be used above 4 ft and regular ladder and tool checks
- Physical and mental ability to operate company vehicles and associated equipment
- Demonstrated ability to perform rigorous outdoor duties including walking, standing, climbing, stooping, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching above and below shoulders, sitting, lifting, grasping, pushing, pulling, manual dexterity
- Ability to climb ladders for extended periods of time
- Ability to carry heavy objects
- Ability to lift 100 pounds regularly
- Good fine motor skills, coordination, range of motion and grip strength
- Ability to work in all climate conditions
- Ability to be exposed to loud noise levels
- Ability to use power tools and pneumatic tools, as well as hand tools:
- skill saws, miter saws, nail guns, Sawzall, general carpentry tools.
- Ability to work in an environment containing dirt, grease, and dust
- Ability to work safely around heavy machinery and heavy equipment
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to effectively interact with others internally and externally
- Ability to work with many different personalities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Correctable vision and hearing
Pay Rate: $18 - $22 per hour
