Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Conduct product demonstrations and upselling to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts
- Provide knowledgeable assistance on product features, especially during product demos
- Manage inventory by restocking shelves and organizing stockroom items efficiently
- Uphold excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support cashiering duties with basic math skills to ensure accurate transactions and change management
- Make sure the store is clean and tidy. (Sweeping/Mopping)
Experience
- Previous retail experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math enhances performance in this role
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for engaging with customers and team members
